What is the best diet?
That’s a question that millions of people often find themselves asking as they struggle to drop those excess pounds. If you go online and search for it you are probably going to find a seemingly endless number of websites each offering it’s own unique answer to this question.
You would think that with all of that information out there it would be easy to find the best diet, but it isn’t. It isn’t because most of the information out there is out there because companies looking to make a profit put it out there. They want to sell you their miracle product that will magically melt away body fat, so they try to convince you to visit their site and buy from them. Basically this means that anything you read online about weight loss should be taken with a grain of salt.
With that being said it is possible to find the best diet so that you will be able to lose weight and get the body you have always wanted.
The number one reason that there is an obesity epidemic going on in the world today is due to the modern diet. The human body was never been to be fueled by highly processed foods that are loaded with unhealthy fats and carbohydrates.
If you go back and look at the kinds of foods our ancient ancestors consumed you would discover that they ate a lot of protein and fat and very little carbohydrates.
Fueling your body with fat and protein while cutting down on carbohydrates will induce a state known as ketosis. When this happens your body will adapt and learn to use fat for energy instead of carbohydrates. This is a much better way to fuel your body because fat contains more energy per volume than carbohydrates do.
If you want to figure out what the best diet is then you need to look at the foods our ancestors ate. Cavemen weren’t fat, they were lean and trim. This was due to a combination of living a much more physically demanding lifestyle than most people do today, and it’s also largely due to their diet.
The simple truth is that there is no magic solution for losing weight without putting in the work. If you want to be leaner and healthier then you need to learn to consume a diet that will cause your body to enter into ketosis.
